Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (Mitsubishi Jidōsha Kōgyō Kabushiki Kaisha) is 'n deel van die Mitsubishi-groep, 'n Japannese konglomeraat van industriële en diensaktiwiteite. Mitsubishi Motors vervaardig en verkoop jaarliks meer as 1 miljoen voertuie, waarvan die oorgrote meerderheid buite sy tuismark Japan is.
Behalwe dat die maatskappy deel is van die Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi-alliansie, is dit ook deel van Mitsubishi keiretsu, voorheen die grootste nywerheidsgroep in Japan, en die maatskappy is oorspronklik in 1970 gestig uit die motorafdeling van Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.[4]
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, wat vragmotors, busse en swaar konstruksietoerusting van kommersiële gehalte bou, was voorheen deel van Mitsubishi Motors, maar is nou afsonderlik van Mitsubishi Motors, en is in besit van die Duitse motorkorporasie Daimler AG (hoewel Mitsubishi steeds 'n klein belang daarin besit).
